This is really weird. Here we are in the middle of February. Its supposed to be Winter. But the temperature outside says 70 degrees. What the fuck? It should say 30 or 40 degrees – not 70. I think Mother Nature is fucked up this year.

Its So Hot You Can Fry An Egg
The temperature was in the 90’s but the heat index was supposedly 125 degrees today. That is really hot – especially when there is no shade. They say you can fry an egg on the sidewalk when it gets this hot. I’m not one for wasting a good egg, but it would be interesting to see the results.
Christmas Countdown
Here it is, almost Christmas. Have you got all your shopping done? The weather is bad – they are calling for snow again tonight and we already have the ground covered with the white stuff. The snow is going to mess up a lot of people’s plans for last minute shopping and for travel to go home and spend the holidays with relatives.

Cold
Man it is so cold here today, I just can not seem to get warm. I have on sweats and a jacket with the heater running full blast and I am still cold. I wonder how quickly I can get a plane ticket for warmer weather. I know the rest of my family feels the same way I do, my only problem is I have a contract with the newspaper until June and I have no money saved up to move. I guess that is two problems but we can start working on both of them as soon as we possibly can and get ready to move our butts out of Nashville in June.
First frost
Last night the temperature hit 29 degrees, the coldest night we have had this season and our first freeze, I still have tomatoes on the vine and I hope they make it through this cold snap, we pulled in all the plants that are mobile and got them in out of the freezing weather. I will not be this cold for very long, the cold snaps in October do not last very long and the weather rebounds very quickly to mild or even warm weather. I can wait for the long very cold spells we will be looking at soon enough when winter do arrive next month.
