This week while I was out on the lake, I happened to notice the Goodyear Blimp traveling over Nashville, There was nothing going on here that I know of so it must of been traveling to it;s next event. We have had the blimp here a few times for Titians football games and a few other events, Nashville is not a real hot bed of top tier events to attract the Goodyear Blimp. They have to fly the blimp between events at the heart rendering speed of 35 MPH, now that would be a hard trip to do, going that slow sometimes clear across the country, give me a plane anytime, much faster and more room to move around.

Family
Maybe it is a shame we can not pick our family members as we choose our friends. My youngest brother has been in a conflict for some time with my oldest sister. I can not choose side they are both my family and I love them both, but now they have drawn other family members into their rift and it continues to grow into a canyon that threatens to draw the rest of the family into it. My biggest fear is that siblings will turn on siblings over this mess and I am trying to stay in the middle so I am being hit by arrows from both sides. Maybe this is a good time to go to a deserted island and hide.
Vacation
Next week I go on vacation and I am a bit concerned about the high price of gasoline, but we are still going to go on our trip, just not as far as we have went in the past. A quick trip to Chicago to see a Cubs game and then down to 6 Flags in Kentucky for a couple of days on our way home. Not a huge trip but we are looking forward to it. The family has not spent a lot of time together this year between school and work it has been very hectic. I look forward to this time with family.
Almost vacation time
It is not time for my vacation yet but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, wait is that a train coming? I am so ready to lay on a beach or go fishing or just sit at home with the phone off, I am not sure which way I am going to go, and when I decide I will be gone in a heart beat. Once a year is not enough time off for vacation and I am asking for more time next year.
