The city fathers of Nashville have lost their collective minds it seems. They are trying to make the honky tonks on Broadway turn down the music so it will not disturb the yuppies that have moved into the condos downtowns far as I am concerned the music as playing loud when they moved there and it is something they either need to learn to deal with or the best option is MOVE somewhere else where the music is not as loud. This to me is like some one buying a house near the airport and then complaining that the planes are to loud, as I said deal with it or move.

Bad TV
For one of the few times I am home during the day and trying to relax a bit and watch some day time TV, man is the selection on daytime TV ever bad. It seems the air waves is filled up with Judge shows and wanna be Jerry Springer spin offs. I think I will just go take a nap, that seems the safest thing to do. I can not believe how bad the TV is during the day time hours, the next time I have a day off I will rent a movie or two to watch that is much safer than trying to watch the junk on day time TV.
Red cars
In some of my earlier blog posts I have denounced the red car as the vehicle of demons and idiots, I want to upgrade that to anyone who would drive a red car is a complete and total idiot. I have no idea who invented red paint but I fear his soul is in a very hot place right now. Yesterday while on my way to the bank I noticed a policeman had a red car pulled over and the driver in handcuffs, for the officers safety I am sure. A few miles down the road half the interstate was closed due to an accident involving 5 yes count them 5 red cars, this is one day on one road and I am sure they did not stage the drama for my enjoyment. To close DO NOT drive red cars, DO NOT ride in red cars, DO NOT drive next to red cars, and finally DO NOT park next to red cars. These tips are for your own safety and the health of your car, let us hope it is not red.
Concert tonight
We got some ticket to go downtown to the Ryman Auditorium tonight to see Levon Helm of the Band fame in concert. I have wanted to see this show since it was announced and was not sure if we could go or not. Today is concert day and we have cleared our schedule and we are going to go see this great show. They announced special guest tonight as John Hyatt and Delbert McClinton that is a good show on its own, let alone as special guest for the main show. Levon Helm was perhaps the best of the drummer singers in the rock business with only a couple even coming close, Phil Collins and Don Henley of the Eagles were pretty good drummer singers too. I can not wait tonight is going to be a lot of fun and we need the break from work.

The first weekend of the football season has been filled with a rash of insanity, major players going down with injuries and teams winning who have no business winning I mean who in their right mind would of thought that the Chicago Bears would beat up on the Indianapolis Colts like they did, and San Diego losing was a real shock to me, I had money on them to win for gosh sakes. It looks like this year is going to be one of those wacky years that come along every once in a while, where nothing goes like it should and we are liable to have some strange teams in the Super Bowl. I guess that means my two teams the Cards and the Titians have a shot after all.
