Next week I go on vacation and I am a bit concerned about the high price of gasoline, but we are still going to go on our trip, just not as far as we have went in the past. A quick trip to Chicago to see a Cubs game and then down to 6 Flags in Kentucky for a couple of days on our way home. Not a huge trip but we are looking forward to it. The family has not spent a lot of time together this year between school and work it has been very hectic. I look forward to this time with family.

I own five vehicles and it is a full time job keeping them running, the little things that go wrong with cars and trucks will just about drive you crazy. Today is the holiday that I like the most of all the ones we have. It means the most to me, as my family is not from here so I guess we embrace the meaning of INDEPENDANCE Day more than most that have lived here all of their lives. My family escaped a communist government to move here and we really know what freedom means and love America for the freedom it allows us to have.
