Infinity Scarves

Asked my mother what she would like for Christmas this year and she told me that she just loves the new infinity scarves. She wants a a red one.

It doesn’t matter what shade of red, as her good winter coat is black. But she doesn’t want a black one – she says black is too harsh that close to your face. And she doesn’t want a white one – because her makeup might rub off on the white scarf and not look nice. She doesn’t want gray, either, as that color does not look good against her skin tone plus with her gray hair she says that is just too much gray around her head and face. So red it shall be.

Sweater Weather – or Hoodies?

I have never been a fan of hoodies. To me, they were sweatshirts with an unnecessary hood. A hood almost never gets used, and when it does, it restricts your field of vision. I would rather just have a sweatshirt – it looks cleaner and weighs less.

I am thinking that even sweatshirts are too casual for some of the activities I like. I should probably step up my wardrobe a little and buy a couple of really nice sweaters. I think a nice sweater and jeans just looks more, I don’t know the word, put together. Or polished.

Anniversary trip

My lovely wife’s and my anniversary is coming up and we have planned a romantic two week trip to Hawaii. To make taking this trip much easier we have decided to purchase some new luggage, including Carry-On Luggage.

We have not had new luggage since we were married 15 years ago. We are way past due to get us some new, very nice luggage. After looking at all the different kinds of luggage available we have decided to get the Hartman Intensity carry on luggage. I love our new luggage and can not wait to get under way on our romantic trip to Hawaii. Early start on halloween

Our children have so much fun every year on Halloween that this year we are going to get an early start on selecting their Halloween Costumes, this year we are purchasing our costumes from In Costume they have a great selection and I think all the children will be able to find the Halloween costume that they want. Every year it is a circus to find last minute costumes and we are not going to fight that battle this year.
