No Cash

I’m a little pissed off. I got a new ATM card in the mail. I didn’t ask for the damn thing, but evidently they expire every couple of years, so the bank sends out a new one.

So I got the new card out of the envelope – almost threw it away because it looked like junk mail. The letter said to call a toll free number and jump through hoops to validate the card. I called the number and pressed this, then I pressed that, then I pressed something else and I was getting pretty fucking tired of all the instructions. And then the phone call just ended. The bank never said congrats you are finished, or thanks for doing business with us. It just terminated the call. WTF?

But I figured it was good. Until I went to the fucking ATM today and the card wouldn’t get accepted. I needed to draw out some cash and the card was declined. WTF?

Never trust computer fixit stores.

Seriously, I took one of my laptops in to a PC repair shop up in Madison to be fixed and the fucking assholes either broke my hard drive (which was NOT broken) or switched it out for a broken one.

I am so pissed right now. WTF is that shit? And I can’t even do anything about it because when I dropped it off, I told the guy I wouldn’t be right back for it because I was going to be out of town. Well, he didn’t bother telling me they had a time limit when I dropped it off. So now he’s telling me the laptop is gone, my files are gone and its just too bad.

Red Pen

Do you own a red pen? I have a bunch of pens that are black, a few that are blue, and not a single red one in the house. I want to use the red pen to mark a special set of files. Seems a little strange to get in the car and drive to the store just to buy a red pen. Maybe I’ll just do something else for the rest of the day and wait to pick up a red pen tomorrow on my way to the office.

Front Loader

Last time I had to use the laundromat, it seems to me that all the washers in that place were front loading machines. It didn’t used to be that way. I don’t know why they would all e front loaders unless they are bigger capacity. Or maybe they use less water? I don’t think they are any faster or better at cleaning clothes, but there must be a reason they got switched out. I’m sure it has to do with money for someone along the line.
