I can not believe the people in Nashville and their inability to drive or even function on a little bit of snow. We got maybe an inch of snow last night and they called off school told everyone to stay home and above all go to Kroger and get milk, bread and eggs in case the electricity goes out for a couple of days or maybe a week like it did once here.
Best new product
The best new product I have come across in the last little bit is Diet sunkist orange soda and I do not know if this is a new product or not but it has just recently come upon my radar, it is the best tasting diet soda on the market and it is a bit hard to find here in Nashville, seems to be a run on it every time I go to the store.
Super Bowl
I find it very hard to believe that the New York Giants won the Super Bowl, I keep thinking about the game and shaking my head. The Giants did almost win the regular season game between the two teams and they did a great job in planning their game plan to beat the Patriots. I can not wait until next year to get back to playing football and see what happens with the Nashville team.
Weather
I HATE winter, I hate the snow, I hate the cold and most of all I hate the way the people in Tennessee drive in the weather. They can not drive to begin with and if you add ice or snow it gets even worse. They even freak out when it rains and get crazy. Add in the fact that 60% of the drivers in Tennessee do not have any kind of insurance and you have mass hysteria at it’s worst.
Deer
For years when I drove around at night we would see deer in the most unlikely places. I mean, we are not out in the country, this is city life. Sometimes we have a couple deer show up in the yard across the street from my house, and we live in a subdivision right by the airport – talk about noise and traffic!
Now we still see deer in the early mornings on the way to work and we even see a white one once in a while. I’ve heard others say they’ve seen the white one, too, so the wife caught this little group the other day.
We wish the camera would zoom in more, but it’s just an old digital that she carries in her purse in case we see a celebrity while we are out and about. It comes in handy quite a bit.
