My wife got me an electronic weather station for Christmas and Mother Nature gave it a work out the last few days, we got a bit over three inches of rain between Thursday and Friday, I know we had a drought last year I guess we are making up for it all at once.
We are two and a half inches above normal for the year so far, everything is green and wet it looks to be a good year this year.
If the Nashville Predators win their last two games they make the NHL playoffs if they lose the put their fate back into the hands of others. If we keep playing well we might even scare someone deep into the playoffs, hope they keep going and make the playoffs. We will need the top two lines to get going if we are going to make a splash into the playoff arena.
The one part of spring I hate is that the bugs come out and start to harass the humans, we here in the south get ants, ticks, flies and a plethora of other bugs all coming at us all spring and summer. We spray, swat and trap to our exhaustion we even bought a bug zapper so we could try to use our yard in the spring but even that fails to give us any protection.
A huge win for the Nashville Predators tonight in St. Louis they came from a 0-3 deficit to win 4-3 in overtime. Funny thing was we got four goals from four non scorers, the first two lines did not chip in at all. If we ever hit on all cylinders we might be a tough match up for the playoffs. Dan Ellis was pulled after the Blues made 3 goals on their first 7 shots, Chris Mason played well and got the win.
Going to a concert tonight with Randy Owen the lead singer of Alabama, and Restless Heart, I have seen the full group Alabama a couple of times but have never seen Restless Heart. It is a charity event of which they have a lot of in Nashville.
A lot of country stars as well as surprisingly a lot of old rockers live in this area. I have ran into Peter Frampton in the grocery store here and had a long conversation with him.
