It has rained the last few days and today while it has not rained yet it is very gloomy and depressing, I really need to have some sunlight on my face in the next few days to make up for this gloomy weather we have been having.
Except they are calling for cloudy and rain everyday for the next five days. Sheesh when is spring going to arrive.
I have a bit of money in a 401K from when i worked at the radio station and I check it once in a while, this down turn in the economy is killing me. I have lost over 3 grand in the last year I hope it can recover but this is a huge blow to our retirement portfolio. I am not sure what to do I can throw more money at the plan or let it ride and hope it recovers I do not know which way to go at this point. I guess I will wait until after the election to see who is elected President and see if that helps.
Today at work I found a 1924 Mercury Dime it is a bit worn but you would have to think it was worth a bit of money. I have no idea where to look online to see what old coins are worth but I am going to do a bit of searching to see what this little piece of silver is worth.
I find old coins from time to time and I always try to grab them up and save them, I need to get a site where I can look up the value of these old coins.
Looks like we get one or two days of spring this week, temperature is in the high sixties and no rain. Very nice out there and everything has started blooming and putting out buds of light green and red. There’s no wind, so the blossoms have a chance to stick around a few days. Of course it could change by dark.
We are going out to dinner with a couple of friends tonight, I enjoy going out but we have so much work to get done so it will be a late night when we get back. When he called with the dinner invitation he said it was his treat, so how could we refuse?
We got a dog about 6 years ago and she changed my life. I have always liked dogs and had one for several years as a kid. But when we got Dottie she was special and she has brought me so much joy I can’t begin to describe it. She is smart and has quite an attitude of royalty. I take her with me in the car as much as I can – she loves to go for a ride and just those four words “go for a ride” get her sparked up and jumping around in excitement.
